Our mission at Mechanics & Body Shops Marketplace is to help the automotive industry and businesses that employ mechanics to find top talent and hire great employees for hard-to-fill positions. We have a chronic shortage of automotive technicians and mechanics nationwide and traditional recruiting methods no longer work.
We offer recruiting and headhunting services to help our clients save time and money by hiring the top talent they need much faster than they would on their own. We have created a “Best Workplace” program to reward the best employers by standing out from the crowd and attracting the best employees.

Elie Massabki was an executive in the High-tech industry before he decided to pursue his passion for cars and the automotive industry by addressing its most dire problem – a shortage of skilled automotive technicians and mechanics. He founded Mechanics and Body Shops Marketplace in 2017 to address the mechanic recruiting problem and Skilled2Hire in 2023 to address the root cause of the problem. Elie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and he’s the author of 2 awarded U.S. patents.
